To build this high-performing campaign, I began by analyzing the fitness market’s key behaviors and seasonal trends. The fitness and gym niche is highly competitive, so positioning was key.

  • Researched trending product types: resistance bands, home workout gear, supplements, gymwear, etc.
  • Identified customer motivations: weight loss, muscle gain, convenience, and consistency
  • Developed a brand-aligned offer that highlighted value, results, and lifestyle transformation

     

The strategy was built around energy-driven messaging and showcasing the lifestyle fitness lovers aspire to.

2️⃣ Advanced Audience Targeting

I created a layered targeting system to drive conversions across all funnel levels using both Facebook & Instagram ads.

  • Interests: gym life, weightlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit, yoga, fitness apparel, healthy lifestyle
  • Behaviors: online fitness shoppers, supplement buyers, gym-goers, activewear customers
  • Custom Audiences: site visitors, product viewers, past customers, social engagers

Implemented a Full-Funnel Campaign Structure with Campaign Budget Optimization (CBO):

  • Top of Funnel (TOF): Targeted cold audiences with motivational video ads and lifestyle reels showcasing product benefits
  • Middle of Funnel (MOF): Re-targeted warm audiences with UGC, reviews, and carousel ads focused on product use and real results
